Introduction:

Gate valves are essential shut-off devices in piping systems, utilizing a wedge-shaped gate that moves vertically to control flow. Their straight-through design ensures minimal pressure drop when fully open, making them ideal for isolation applications. The sealing surfaces, typically coated with wear-resistant alloys (1Cr13, STL6, or tungsten carbide), provide durable metal-to-metal contact. These valves are classified as rigid wedge (for stable conditions) or flexible wedge (accommodating thermal expansion). Manufactured to API 600/ASME standards with pressure ratings from Class 150-2500, they're widely used in oil/gas, water systems, and power plants. Critical operational notes: they should never be throttled, require periodic lubrication, and must be fully opened/closed to prevent seat damage.

Product Advantages:

1.Low flow resistance. The medium channel inside the valve body is straight, and the medium flows in a straight line, and the flow resistance is small.
2.It is more labor-saving when opening and closing. This is compared to a globe valve, because the direction of movement of the ram is perpendicular to the direction of the flow of the medium, whether it is open or closed.
3. The height is large and the opening and closing time is long. The opening and closing stroke of the ram is larger, and the lifting is carried out by the screw.
4.Water hammer is not easy to produce. The reason for this is the long closure time.
5. The medium can flow in any direction on both sides, which is easy to install. The gate valve passage is symmetrical on both sides.
6.The length of the structure (the distance between the two connected end faces of the shell) is small.
7.The shape is simple, the structure length is short, the manufacturing process is good, and the application range is wide. 8.Compact structure, good valve rigidity, smooth channel, small flow resistance, stainless steel, and cemented carbide sealing surface, long service life, PTFE packing, reliable sealing, light, and flexible operation.
